Illustration Friday; Forward.

The quote on the side got cut off, but it was, "Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards." said by Soren Kierkgaard. I chose to do a dragonfly flying over a split railroad because dragonflies are the symbol of maturity. The split railroad I took as having two options in life; one to continue the road you're on and another to move forward in your life- and that's how I took it. Reaching a maturity that you realize you have make important decisions to choose where your life is going and moving forward with your choice.

Oh my gosh, Shoes.

Different Views of Different Shoes, that was our homework, but as you can see, mine are EXTREMELY tiny. I did fuzzy clogs by Jessica Simpson that look like slippers, fancy detailed strappy- zipper shoes, black pointy heels that I wore once and twisted my ankle in, and a really close up part of cowboy boots that I tried to run in the snow in and slid down my driveway after falling.

Illustration Friday; Twirl.

Illustration Friday; The week of Friday, January, 20th the word was twirl. Automatically you think of twirl and ballerinas come to mind, but for me so do optical illusions, curls, swirls, and those giant rainbow lollipops. This is my original drawing. The one at the bottom I attempted to make the lollipop actually rainbow, but my editing looks horrible.
